  1. The bass after "birdshit"

Despite everyone in the comments, I feel that Justin Vernon is like the Alan Watts of music. Seeing as he's studied religion so much and has such a unique, playful and loose take on his field.

Before this album, I would hear Bon Iver on SiriusXMU and think "DAMN this is some boring lame ass hipster garbage" and change the channel. I just don't see how anyone could prefer the older stuff?

This is your best piece, no doubt.

Amazing and powerful. This is stunning. Thank you for sharing your gifts. I'm agnostic but this album is such an amazing journey of the self that I find myself weeping at these powerful, frightening and delightful ideas. We have a saying down in Louisiana, in the Southern Baptist church: "MMMMM-hmm, Yassah, dat's right! Praise Be!" A fan is usually slapped on granny's thigh as she enunciates each syllable.

"in Spiritual Numerology, the numbers 11, 22, and 33 are the three ‘Master Numbers’, the highest being 33 … This highest of the master numbers was the age of the Master Initiate (Jesus) at his death, resurrection and ascension, giving more esoteric accents. The ’33’ symbolizes the highest spiritual conscious attainable by the human being.”- Elizabeth Van Buren

What I find cool: 33 "God" is 3 minutes and 33 seconds long…

Sitting here listening to this great music and happened to scroll through the comments for the heck of it….people arguing about whether dinosaurs are in the bible or not…freakin hilarious… self righteous experts on the bible claiming there are…others saying who cares because the whole world is run by corporations…I bet if I look harder I can find crap about Sandy Hook, the moon landing, and 9/11…everyone's an expert on what they believe to be true…once they've bought into it, it is true and you can't convince them otherwise because then they were wrong to believe it…and foolish for being tricked… the truth is no one knows the truth about life…and if they claim otherwise they are either hucksters, desperate, or fools. I don't know what the meaning is or even if there is any meaning… the most honest answer any human can give is I don't know…I'm OK with that.

Did anyone else notice he sampled Paulo Nuiniti's iron sky in the "find god part"? I thought it was really cool and fits perfectly to the song.
